What Routeyst provides

Routeyst is an independent travel discovery project with destination guides, travel stories, weather preparation, weekend ideas and account shortlists. Stay and tour listings currently focus on Koraput district, Odisha; guide coverage extends across several Indian states.

Listings support personal enquiries. The website does not currently operate an online checkout, automatically reserve rooms or issue tickets. Any stay or tour personally arranged through Routeyst requires separate written confirmation of the provider, service, dates, price and applicable terms.

Using the website and your account

You can read public guides and use public travel essentials without signing in. Google sign-in is needed to submit enquiries, view private enquiry and arrangement history, save places, mark visits or vote. Comparing published options and viewing shared collection previews and aggregate vote totals are available without signing in. Keep your account secure, give accurate details and do not use someone else’s identity or account.

Account holders must be at least 18. An adult should manage enquiries and arrangements involving children. Do not submit passwords, payment-card details or identity documents through a general enquiry or private reminder. We may restrict abusive activity or suspend access to protect users and the service.

Guides, forecasts and travel information

Travel information can change. Opening hours, permissions, weather, access and transport should be checked with the relevant provider or authority before departure. A guide or listing is not a promise that a place is open, suitable or accessible for your circumstances.

Forecasts come from an external service and have limitations. Weekend ideas are curated suggestions, not a timed itinerary. Maps links open an external service where you should confirm the correct visitor entrance and journey. Weather preparation notes are not a safety assessment. Follow local warnings, restrictions and qualified advice; do not rely on Routeyst for emergencies.

Enquiries and confirmed arrangements

Submitting an enquiry, opening WhatsApp or receiving an enquiry reference does not confirm a booking. Availability, room or package details, inclusions, exclusions, dates, guest count, total cost, payment recipient and cancellation terms must be agreed before you commit.

A “Booked through Routeyst” record is a manually maintained summary of an arrangement made with our team. It does not by itself reserve inventory, process payment or replace the provider’s confirmation or a required invoice. Tell us promptly if a record differs from your written agreement.

Providers and external websites

Hotels, hosts and tour operators deliver their own services. We help communicate details for enquiries and personally arranged bookings; the respective responsibilities of Routeyst and the provider must be made clear in the written arrangement.

External websites operate under their own terms and privacy policies. If affiliate recommendations are introduced, they will be identified. A recommendation is not a guarantee of availability, price or service quality.

Prices, cancellations and refunds

The enquiry form takes no payment. Where a payment is separately arranged, obtain a written breakdown of the agreed total, any taxes or fees, advance, balance, recipient and cancellation terms before paying. Do not treat a displayed or discussed estimate as a confirmed quotation.

Our Cancellations & Refunds policy explains how to request changes and refunds. Provider terms cannot override applicable statutory consumer rights. No new fee or cancellation condition should be imposed retrospectively on an already agreed arrangement.

Your shortlists and shared links

Saved ideas, collection names and private notes belong to your account. If you enable sharing, anyone with that link can see the collection name and selected published items, including later edits. Private notes, enquiries, account email and bookings are excluded. Trip dates and traveller counts appear only if the owner enables their sharing.

You can disable sharing or delete a collection. Revocation stops future access through Routeyst but cannot remove copies someone already made. Removing a saved item also removes it from your collections. Do not use public collection names to disclose someone’s private information.

Content and acceptable use

You may read our content for personal travel research and share public page links. Do not copy or republish substantial website content or photographs without the relevant permission, misrepresent affiliation with Routeyst, bypass access controls or submit malicious or fraudulent information.

If you send a correction or photograph, only share information and material you have permission to share. Sending material does not mean Routeyst will publish it. We may ask for source details, image rights and permission before using contributions.

Availability, responsibility and your rights

We work to maintain a useful service, but pages and third-party tools may be unavailable, incomplete or delayed. We may correct, remove or update information and features. Travel decisions should take account of current local conditions and your personal needs.

Nothing in these terms excludes rights or liabilities that cannot lawfully be excluded, including applicable consumer protections. We do not impose compulsory arbitration or prevent you from approaching a competent consumer authority or court. Applicable Indian law governs these terms, subject to any mandatory rights that apply to you.

Changes and questions

We publish material changes to these terms with an updated date. Changes to website terms do not retrospectively replace the written terms of an existing arrangement.
